Time Flies !!!

Once in standard 9th in Emmanuel Mission School, my friend Teena gave me her slam book to fill. The concept was totally new to me as nothing of this sort ever happened in my old school "Vidya Mandir". Well, no matter I took more than a week to fill that (primarily because it was in English), but various columns in her diary made me really think about myself. Never before did I fill or think about myself other than my name, address, date of birth and father's name. So I finally read the older entries in the diary to see what to fill, caught hold of one English magzine from somewhere and used Hindi to English dictionary and somehow filled it all. There was probably some column about dreams, I was clueless what to fill. I guess I hardly thought beyond passing in the social studies exam. Anyway, to impress the girls of my class, who were surely gona read my entry, I made my thinking go wild and started thinking of some of the probably impossible things. To claim my acumen and the vision, after much thinking I wrote, I wanna have a flight journey. Ah that sounded good, I was very sure no one else in the class could think that far. To add to my vision, I added, I wanna travel abroad at least once ( don't know what made me write that, but I actually never thought in any of this kinda direction).

10 years from that incident, which seems a nice incident to mock on, I am happy that I finally had both of them. Now an abroad trip definitely seems trite, but I am just wondering have I come of an age.
